Rachel focuses on empowering the client to discover and cultivate insight and personal strengths to expand their conscious well-being.
Rachel is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC), RScP (Spiritual practitioner), and a Registered Psychotherapist with the Colorado department of regulatory agencies. Rachel is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC), RScP (Spiritual practitioner), and a Registered Psychotherapist with the Colorado department of regulatory agencies. She has been serving clients for over 35 years in the mental health, spiritual and creative fields. She utilizes her experiences as an artist, spiritual practitioner, her doctorate level education Psy.D/ABD (all but dissertation) Adjunct professor experience and teacher. , Rachel earned her Psy.D/All But Dissertation in clinical psychology from Union Institute and University. She also holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA) and Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) from the University of Colorado, Boulder where she earned a full scholarship for her graduate school. She is a practicing Practitioner for the Centers of Spiritual Living. Along with her clinical work Rachel is a professional artist, and an adjunct professor teaching psychology and fine arts. Her main meditation practice is Zazen coupled with mindfulness spiritual practices. She enjoys her daughter and grandkids, yoga and being in nature.

Her therapeutic experience spans through different cultural, age race, including work experience with children to teens, adults, couples, families along with the challenges and difficulties for the aging. She has experience working with LGBTQ populations and diverse cultural clientele. She gently navigates the challenges of anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, adjustment issues, couples, individual counseling, existential challenges, grief and loss, spiritual journeys, creative and artistic blocks to name a few. Some of the modalities she uses are Mindfulness, Cognitive (CBT), ACT Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion focused, Humanistic, existential, solution focused, addiction, integrative and holistic. A large portion of her clientele suffer with all levels of trauma from childhood to abuse to PTSD and complex trauma.
